feel like i've been skimming along with my art since i started making it. i've NEVER put in the amount of time it would actually take to make something good. suddenly realized it while in my shower. tonight starts a new piece. something i'm going to spend time on. i'm really scared it won't come out well - which is, i'm sure, the reason i've never put time into anything before. cross your fingers. hope everyone is well. <3

I go through that same problem myself... I'm always to afraid to spend so much time on something.. What if it sucks... Then I just tell myself... Laura.... its just paper.... How much of it do you have? DRAW!!! ;-D

dunno. heard about it from an anthro teacher. sounded interesting. i like authors that looks passed shitty answers to big questions. diamond seems to do a good job of it. trying to broaden my understanding of why we are where we are i guess. miss ya man. i'll have to take my bike apart and bring it down there. alright man. see you soon.
